Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 8, 2026. Qivello is a trade name of 10831867 Canada Limited (“Qivello”, “we”, “us”), based in Ontario, Canada.

This policy explains how Qivello handles personal information in connection with (a) our own website at qivello.com, and (b) the after-hours website-intake assistant we build and operate for roofing-business clients. We aim to comply with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

1. The qivello.com marketing site

No tracking. qivello.com is a static marketing page. It does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy and, where required, add a cookie notice and choices before doing so.

Demo assistant. The page shows a demo assistant that runs in demo mode only. What you type into it is used only to generate an on-screen reply and is not stored or retained by us.

If you contact us. If you email us or book a call through our scheduling link, we receive what you choose to provide (e.g., name, email, phone, business, message) so we can respond. Scheduling is handled by our booking provider, Calendly, which processes the details you enter to create the booking (see Calendly's own privacy policy).

2. The intake assistant we operate for clients

When Qivello operates an intake assistant on a roofing business's own website, the assistant may collect the information a visitor chooses to provide — such as name, contact number, service area, and a description of their enquiry. In that context Qivello acts as a service provider to that roofing business, which is the party the visitor is dealing with. Visitors are told they are interacting with an automated assistant and that their details will be shared with the roofing business so it can follow up. (As of the date above, the assistant is not yet collecting information on live client websites; this section describes how it will operate once deployed.)

3. Why we collect personal information

4. Consent

We collect, use, and disclose personal information only with your consent or as otherwise permitted by law. For enquiries captured through a client's assistant, the visitor is told it is an automated assistant and that their details will be shared with the roofing business so it can respond to their enquiry. Any ongoing marketing to a homeowner is the responsibility of the roofing business the homeowner contacted, not Qivello.

Where Qivello sends its own commercial email (for example, to roofing businesses), we do so only as permitted under CASL: we identify ourselves, include a valid mailing address and contact information, and provide a working unsubscribe option that we honour promptly. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us (below); withdrawing consent may limit our ability to respond.

5. How information is shared

Enquiries captured on a client's site are shared with that specific roofing business only. We do not sell leads and do not operate a shared lead pool.

We rely on service providers to run the service, who process information on our behalf under appropriate safeguards and data-processing terms:

We may also disclose information where required by law.

6. Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or anonymize it. Specifically: enquiries you send us directly (by email or booking) are kept for up to 12 months from our last contact, unless you become a client, in which case we keep records for the life of the engagement and as our client agreement requires. For enquiries captured through a client's assistant, Qivello deletes the information from its systems within 90 days of routing it to that client; the roofing business keeps it under its own policy.

7. Where your information is stored

Some of our service providers store and process information outside Canada, including in the United States. While information is in another country, it may be accessible to that country's courts, law enforcement, and regulatory authorities under that country's laws. We remain accountable for your information and require our providers, by contract, to protect it to a comparable standard.

8. Your rights

Under PIPEDA you may request access to the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time.

9. Safeguards & breaches

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a breach of security safeguards creates a real risk of significant harm, we will assess it and, as required by PIPEDA, notify the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada and affected individuals, and keep records of the breach.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version.

11. Contact
